Multotec Mill and Scrubber Lining

Multotec Mill Liners are designed, manufactured and installed by highly trained and experienced personnel. When designing the liners careful consideration of all the working parameters is taken into account in addition, the liners will depend on individual client requirements in respect of capacity, grind and/or liner life.

Our range of liners are used in the following types of mills, Rod Mills, Batch Mills, Ball Mills, Scrubbers, Pebble Mills, Washing Drums

Head Plates (1)mill_linings-1.gif

Head plates are supplied in either in solid or steel backed rubber. This can be sub-divided to facilitate ease of installation and handling.

Shell Plates (2)

The thickness of the Shell Plates can vary in order to increase mill capacity and/or liner life. The width is designed to receive the best protection from the lifter bars.

Lifter Bars (3)

Lifter bars are available in a range of widths, heights and profiles. 'MultoMet' composite lifter bars with 'Hardox' steel fitted to the leading edge provides maximum impact and abrasion resistance. The attachment system is designed to provide ease of installation, maximum life and protection.

Grate Plates (4)

The elastic property of rubber allows for smaller slots and less taper than steel plates whilst eliminating binding problems.

Available in a range of hole dimensions, shapes and spacing.

Pan Liners (5)

Pan Liners are supplied with rubber lined steel base. Our products is at least three times lighter then solid steel or cast iron pan liners.

The rubber lining prevents corrosion and reduces wear.

Trunnion & Bell Mouth Liner (6)

Trunnion and Bell Mouth liners are manufactured from a fabricated steel base, which is then rubber lined. Loose steel backed rubber liners are also used in larger Trunnions.

Central Cone (7)

The central cone is designed to assist in the discharge of material to increase capacity.

Noise Reducing Properties of Rubber

Rubber has the ability to absorb energy because it has high inner losses when exposed to dynamic strains. This means that the sound radiation from a rubber surface decreases considerably. A rubber thickness of 40mm or more reduces noises levels to the point where the use of earplugs is avoided.

Installation Teams

Installation Teams are able to supervise, assist or undertake complete lining installations.
