Wheels and Rollers
Multotec can manufacture wheels and rollers to suit a wide range of applications across many areas of Australian industry. The wide versatility of polyurethane with excellent cut and tear resistance, abrasion resistance and superior load bearing characteristics make it an ideal material for many applications. Polyurethane's are replacing rubber in applications because of the superior mechanical properties that can be built into many products.
Wheels
Wheels can be custom manufactured in a range of different materials varying in hardness from 40 Shore 'A' to 70 Shore 'D' to suit drive wheel applications through to high load applications.
A range of other specialist wheel products can be manufactured for various applications including fork-lifts, conveyor lines, retractable seating systems and entertainment rides.
Rollers
Multotec has supplied rollers of various shapes and sizes for a wide range of applications for nearly twenty years. We engineer product with a range of characteristics as follows:

BHP - Whyalla
Multotec has manufactured a range of different rollers for BHP's Pellet Plant at Whyalla for many years including the development of ceramic ended rollers for screening pellets.
Zinifex - Pt. Pirie
Multotec has supplied a range of head drum and conveyor rollers to this plant.
Scholle Industries
Multotec supplies this customer a wide range of different laminating rollers for its wine cask bladder production.

Multotec has supplied large head drum pulleys for use on their coal conveyors.
