Static Screens
Multotec provides complete Static Screen assemblies, which are custom designed to suit your application.
Multotec manufactures a range of Static Screen units complete with feed chute, housing, Screen deck and integral under pan from 305 to 3000mm and 925 x 6100mm long.
The Screen panels are generally standard modular polyurethane 305 x 305 x 30mm thick panels with slotted apertures of flow.

- Dewatering
- Desliming Trash removal
- Used in conjunction with Vibrating Screen for one the above functions.
Static Screens are designed to suit customer requirements, The wetted surfaces can be either polyurethane, rubber or ceramic to suit duty.
Static Screens are typically inclines at between 27° & 35° down. The unit is pivoted in the center and during commissioning the optimum slope is determined and the Static Screen fastened into position.
The feed chute is either a flat bottom type for diamond applications or stilling type for all other general applications. The idea of the chute arrangements is to reduce velocity and turbulence and spread the feed evenly across the screen width to optimize screen performance.
